I agree with melmo suggested that the use of cortisone cream on the bite of an insect and can be tested against the diaper rash ointment in the rest of the redness. Thin layer of hydrocortisone on the bite and diaper rash medication for the rest is a good idea. Most babies do not get to be yeast infections and diaper rash is not caused by fungal infections.
